The Virginia Career Works - Roanoke Center, located at 3601 Thirlane Road NW, Suite 2, Roanoke, VA 24019, is open for walk-in clients. Customers may visit the Roanoke Center between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Wednesdays. Services that are provided include job search assistance, assistance with enrolling in training and education, computers, copier, scanner, and/or phone usage for job search needs, and/or information on additional resources that are available in the community such as food, housing, transportation, etc. The Roanoke Center is here to assist with anything you need related to your education and employment goals. Please note, there will be no representatives from the Virginia Employment Commission available to speak to you regarding your unemployment insurance claim/questions.
